ABOUT ME

My name is Maria A. Padilla. I’m putting my Bachelor’s in Biology from Lenoir-Rhyne University to good use by publishing whatever outlandish ideas crop up in my mind. My passion lies in accepting my inner creative, and writing my way out of my head and into the world.

I’ve worked many odd jobs and 9-5s, and likely will again. Lifelong experience in the meatgrinder of food service and retail, as it turns out, makes for decent writing. For the moment, I’ve been granted the opportunity to explore my creativity to the fullest.

A native of the southern United States, I made the international move to Germany following university. Eagerly, I absorb all the inspiration life in Europe has to give. My primary form of writing is short stories and journal entries in the genres of horror and realism. This doesn’t stop me from trying my hand as a poet and novelist, developing in the genres of fantasy and contemporary.
